Lightweight stone panels Offer Stability and Reliability |
|
Lightweight stone
panels offer stability, strength, and flexibility,
making them the ideal choice for both exterior
and interior renovations. Because of the unique
undercut anchoring technology, the ACT system
can accommodate lightweight stone panels and will
reduce handling costs and improve production.
There is a common misconception that lightweight
stone panels are a new phenomenon in the building
trades, when in reality they have been in production
for the past 50 years or more and with great success.
At Probe Construction Products, we understand
the need for a high quality, ventilated stone
façade system that will work with today's lightweight
stone panels. As the U.S. representative for the
Fischer Advanced Curtainwall Technology (ACT)
System, we can take advantage of the variety of
materials that the system can accommodate. In
addition to granite, bluestone and slate, the
lightweight panels are being specified on a regular
basis. Probe will supply the materials, pricing,
technical assistance, basic engineering support
and CAD layouts to insure that your project progresses
smoothly from start to finish.
The Fischer ventilated stone façade system is
comprised of a stress free undercut anchor suspended
on an aluminum subframe consisting of horizontal
and vertical members with specially designed wall
holders. The system allows for the use of up to
six inches of exterior insulation with minimal
penetrations to the insulation envelope. The system
can span floor to floor without load bearing tiebacks
and is ideal for problem substrates. The subframe
can be anchored to most surfaces - block, concrete,
CMU's as well as steel stud construction and has
been Seismic tested to 9 on the Richer Scale.
Our facades are ventilated and are thermally efficient.
